Who Am I?

Entrepreneur, community leader, volunteer, partner. I don't generally fit into one label.

In 2020, I founded my solo practice, Lansing Law PLLC, where I specialize in land use and real estate law, but handle a wide range of case subjects and areas of law. I received my JD from Seattle University School of Law in May 2020, and was admitted to the Washington Bar in June (WSBA License # 56747). My passion for justice and public service brought me to law, and my drive and hunger to develop healthy and sustainable communities fuels my progress. I also graduated in 2022 from the University of Washington with a Master of Urban Planning from the College of Built Environments.

When I'm not working, you might find me tinkering in the garage, figuring out what adventure to go on next with my do. Other times, you can find me at a good show, that fancy new restaurant you've been curious about, or diving deeply into something you didn't know was even a hobby.

What am I good at?

Accomplished technology professional. I spent first 6 years of my career carefully curating a portfolio of marketing and sales work in the technology sector that I can be proud of.

Ongoing student. I never stop learning. I completed my EMT-Basic training through an aggressively accelerated program through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) Wilderness Medicine Program in 2017. Recently graduated from Seattle University School of Law, I then enrolled in the University of Washington College of Built Environments for a masters degree in Urban Planning. In 2022, I graduated from the UW having successfully defended my thesis. I commonly find myself researching niche topics almost by accident. You never know when you might need to know who invented vulcanized rubber!

Quickly passionate. It doesn't take a lot to make me a ardent advocate. Things you had no idea had a hobbyist community, I might not only be a mile deep into, but even lead communities for. If you ever need a guy to explain what mechanical keyboard switches are, and why they're so interesting, I'm not a bad one to call.

Natural leader. I find myself gravitating into leadership, either by choice or accident. It wouldn't be the first time that I'm asked to lead the charge on something I had no idea needed a leader. I prioritize team wins, and value open communications, transparent decision-making, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
